As well as being licensed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture, our products have undergone rigorous laboratory testing and have been certified non-alcoholic (<0.5%) by the FDA - that means anyone, any age can enjoy our kombucha with confidence!
At DKBCo., our kombucha undergoes an all-natural fermentation and/or second fermentation for a 100% raw, unpasteurized product. It is a widely known fact that some national kombucha brands use a "pasteurized tea base", adding probiotics in a separate process. Not true at Detroit Kombucha Brewing Company. We hand-craft our premium, small batch product with passion, pride and respect for our customers' health and well-being. We know you will enjoy every last drop!
*0.5 % is still a trace amount of ethanol. With that being said, if your are abstaining from alcohol, are sensitive to alcohol, or are pregnant - it’s safest to avoid kombucha altogether.
